Chargers Earn Late Win
The Terra Linda Chargers relied on a great performance from 21-year old right-handed pitcher Justin Hesley to beat the Moncton Mounties, 1-0, in 10 innings at Ballpark of Plantersville. Moncton's current losing streak is now 5 games.

The game-ending blow was delivered by Joe Corcoran in the bottom of the tenth. That's when he hit a run-scoring double off 21-year old right-handed pitcher Chris Gabbitas to win it for Terra Linda and cause the home crowd to erupt in celebration.

"I'm happy we won," said Hesley. "That's first and foremost. My goal is for the team to win the day I pitch, however it's done."
