Both teams had their opportunities, but in the end, the Cincinnati Royals got the win.
Josh Oakman propelled his team to victory over the Oakland Invaders. The final score was 4-3, Cincinnati. With the victory, the Royals upped their record to 46-42.
Cincinnati took a 4-3 lead on Mike Rankin's 8th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which Rankin hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Oakland pitcher Tom Paolucci visibly frustrated.
