There was no shortage of dramatics at Ballpark of Plantersville.

The Terra Linda Chargers saddled the Moncton Mounties with a loss at Ballpark of Plantersville. The final score was 8-4. Felipe Marquez was 2 for 2, including 1 single and 1 home run. The Terra Linda center fielder scored 1 run and drove in 3. Reliever Rich Hepler picked up the win. His record improves to 2-0. Frank Stroud took the loss.

Terra Linda got a game-changing hit from Pete Horne. The second baseman blasted a grand slam home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a winner.

"Walking a team off at the end -- there's no greater feeling," said Horne.
