The Dallas Dragons soundly defeated the Vancouver Mounties, 12-1, at Tennant Healthcare Ballpark, with left fielder Chris Beasley a major reason why. He went 3-4 with a home run, a triple, and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 5 for Dallas. The winning pitcher was Adrian Huffine. He's now 6-3. He went 6 innings, allowing no runs on 4 hits for the Dragons. Dallas is now 43-45, Vancouver 35-53.

With Dallas leading 9-0 in the bottom of the sixth, Beasley came up to bat against Vancouver pitcher Lance Goecker. Beasley hit a fastball to right-center for a 3-run home run. His 19th home run of the season put the Dragons on top, 12-0.

"We lit up the scoreboard," said Dallas manager Edgar Puente.
