A good performance from third baseman Billy Groesbeck helped the Moncton Mounties defeat the Terra Linda Chargers, 8-3. Groesbeck went 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 2 for the Mounties. Cory Crabtree earned the save, his 1st. The loss lowers the Terra Linda record to 16-8.

Moncton used the hitting of Elijah Pleasant to pick up the win. The catcher clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Mounties on top, 4-2. For the game, Pleasant had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"It never gets old," said Groesbeck. "Winning, that is."
