Walker Shines in 9-3 Indianapolis Win
The Indianapolis Eagles topped the Carolina Crown, 9-3, with youngster T.J. Walker playing a key role. Walker was 4 for 5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3 for the Eagles in the win. Rodney Caporn got credit for the win, improving to 3-7. He allowed no runs on no hits in 4.1 innings. The second-place Eagles have won 4 straight.

Henry Cortez had a big hit for Indianapolis in the top of the third inning. With Indianapolis leading 3-2, Cortez hit a run-scoring double. It was his 11th double of the season and put the Eagles up, 4-2.
