Tindall Homers Twice in 13-4 Bellflowers Win
A 5-RBI performance from the 21-year old first baseman Matt Tindall helped the Buffalo Bellflowers beat the Moncton Mounties, 13-4. Miguel Mendez, now 1-0, picked up the win in relief. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.2 innings. Scott Hargraves recorded his 3rd save for Buffalo.

With Buffalo leading 7-4 in the top of the eighth, Tindall hit a changeup from Manuel Esquivel for a 3-run home run. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Bellflowers ahead, 10-4.

"Winning is contagious," said Tindall. "We're looking forward to the next game."

The Mounties drop to 5-5 and continue their mediocre start to the 2020 season.
