Mounties Get Past Buffalo for 3-2 Win
Buffalo got a big-time effort from pitcher Tom Donnelly, but it wasn't enough to keep the Moncton Mounties from winning the game, 3-2. Donnelly threw 7.0 innings of 4-hit ball for the losing team. The winner in relief was Greg Brando. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. He now owns a record of 1-0. The save went to Chris Payton, number 4 for him.

With a runner on 1st and two out in the bottom of the seventh inning, catcher Elijah Pleasant delivered big for the Mounties. Moncton was trailing 2-0 when he belted a 2-run home run.

"We squandered some opportunities," said Buffalo manager Andy Perez.

The win gives Moncton a record of 5-2.
