Whistlers Pull Out Late Win, 7-6
Whislters Park was rocking after an exciting Whistlers win.

Behind a fine performance from A.J. Cook, the Boston Whistlers knocked off the Fountain Hills 23ers, 7-6. Cook was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Whistlers. Reliever Blake Bryant picked up the win. His record improves to 3-1. Sean Ryan took the loss.

The game reached a climactic end in the bottom of the ninth. With Boston trailing 6-4, Dillon Rodriquez delivered the decisive blow, stroking a curveball from Sean Ryan for a 3-run home run. Ballgame.

"It's what good teams do, find a way to win," said Rodriquez.

The Whistlers now have a record of 49-38.
