Dragons Suffer 7-3 Road Loss
Behind a solid performance from shortstop John Hunt, the Vancouver Caribou defeated the Dallas Dragons, 7-3. Hunt went 2 for 4 with a home run. He scored 2 times and drove in 4 for the Caribou. The winner was Vancouver reliever Sean Ryan, now 4-0. The loser was Pat DeChant. By defeating Dallas, the second-place Caribou improved to 45-41.

In the bottom of the seventh, with the game tied, the Dragons allowed the Caribou to take a 5-3 lead on a base hit and Dallas error.

"I thought we played some darn good baseball," said Caribou manager Pete Clark.
