Nightmare Stadium was the site for American Conference action featuring the New York Nightmare and Boston Whistlers.
The Boston Whistlers bumped off the New York Nightmare, 8-2, at Nightmare Stadium. Oliver Damon hit 2 singles and 1 double. He also had 3 runs batted in. Boston pitcher Josh Becker got the win. He's now 1-1. John Way was tagged with the loss.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Dillon Rodriquez? The Boston center fielder had a 2-run single in the top of the fifth inning to put the Whistlers on top, 5-2. For the game, Rodriquez had 1 double and 2 singles in 5 at-bats.
"Trying isn't good enough in this league," said Rodriquez. "You've got to get results."
