Sunderland on Fire, 5-for-5 Against Purdue
It wasn't just another day at the ballpark for Prince Sunderland. Sunderland went on a tear and cracked hit after hit off Purdue pitchers. When the dust settled on the diamond at Eddie Pellagrini Diamond, he had a 5-for-5 line and a day he will long remember. And the Boston College Eagles had a win, 8-2, over the Boilermakers.

"Yeah, it'll be something nice to tell the grandkids, but it won't get me a hit tomorrow," he joked in the postgame interview.

Prince Sunderland hit a solo-shot off Sean Finch in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a two-run double in the 6th and singled in the 8th.

So far this year, Sunderland has hit .378 with 9 home runs, 34 RBIs and 37 runs scored.
