Gangsters Pick Up 7-5 Win Against New York
Chicago and New York duked it out and the Gangsters came out victorious.

Behind a solid performance from third baseman Billy Manuele, the Chicago Gangsters defeated the New York Nightmare, 7-5. Manuele was 2-4 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Gangsters. The winner was Keith Kramer in relief. His record improves to 2-7. Dana Walker took the loss. Brandon Williams earned the save, his 3rd, for the Gangsters.

Manuele had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the eighth. On a 1-1 curveball from Dana Walker, he banged a 2-run home run to left, giving the Gangsters a 7-5 lead. It was the 11th home run of the year for Manuele.

"We'll pop the top on a cold beverage and get back to work tomorrow," Manuele said.

The win puts Chicago at 32-53.
