The Indianapolis Eagles picked up a win at Eagles Stadium, dropping the Carolina Reapers, 5-4. Aaron Daniels, who is tied for 9th in the NC in wins with 7, was the difference-maker. The Eagles improved their record to 49-35 by beating Carolina.

Mike Dallis played the role of hero for Indianapolis. In the bottom of the ninth, he launched a solo home run off Justin Berry to win the game. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was the decisive blow.

"What an ending!" said a jubilant Dallis.
