A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Charleston Shiners and Indianapolis Eagles.

Behind the hitting of Danny Lebron, the Charleston Shiners stopped the Indianapolis Eagles, 10-5. Lebron was 3 for 6 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Shiners. Josh Reed, the winner, improved to 9-1. He held the Eagles to 3 runs on 5 hits over 5 innings, while striking out 3 and walking 3. Brian Aldridge closed it out for his 4th save.

Tim Hutchison, who is tied for 7th in the NC with a .856 OPS, aided the Charleston cause with a run-scoring walk in the top of the second. For the game, the first baseman was 1 for 4 with a walk.

"The boys came out and just played their butts off," said Charleston manager Chad Hart.
