Super Swinger -- Pak Slams 5 Hits
It doesn't happen very often, but it did for Won-u Pak -- a 5-hit effort. He went on a rampage at Jim Patterson Stadium and paced the 13-1 Cardinals win over the UCLA Bruins.

After his dynamite batting performance, the Louisville second baseman told reporters that he "just tried to get in a good count and have a good at-bat. That's all I can control."

His philosophy paid dividends today. He slammed 5 hits in 6 tries and put his name in the record book. Won-u Pak singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, flied out in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.

To date, Pak has collected 42 hits for a .307 average. He has posted 4 home runs, scored 18 runs and driven in 18 runs.
