Hit Parade: Arroyo Gets Cycle Monday, April 29th , 2024 Finishing with 4 hits is a great day for any player, but Edwin Arroyo made it even more special by hitting for the cycle at Air Riders Ballpark. Arroyo had 1 single, 1 double, 1 triple and 1 home run for the Mt. Vernon Cyclones and led them to a win, 14-3, over the South Pasadena Air Riders. The right fielder also finished with 3 runs scored and 5 RBI. "Awesome," Arroyo said when asked how the accomplishment felt. Edwin Arroyo walked in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, hit a two-run triple in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, hit a two-run home run off Adam Downing in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
