Orosco Smacks 5 Hits for Naturals Tuesday, May 5th , 2026 The Greensboro Naturals stopped the Newport Unicorns by a score of 20-14 at Naturals Grounds, with the lion's share of the credit going to third baseman Dave Orosco. The 21-year-old had a career day, collecting 5 hits. "Every batter wants to have a quality at-bat every time he steps up to the plate," Orosco said later. "He wants to hit the ball hard." Orosco did just that in his 5 at-bats, much to the chagrin of the Unicorns. "Not much that I can say," offered Newport manager Victor Sepulveda. "He just hammered the heck out of us." Dave Orosco doubled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off Danny Guerrero in the 5th, was hit by a pitch in the 6th and hit a three-run double in the 8th.
