Ottawa's Cureton Goes Ballistic with 6 Hits

All game long, Ottawa's Pat Cureton was rattling the walls at Jammers Park and banging out base hits against the Julian Jammers. When the dust finally settled on the diamond, he had a 6-hit day and the Lynx had a win, 8-6.
Speaking with reporters after his standout performance, the 22-year-old center fielder said, "Get 6 hits, win a ballgame, it's nice. I could get used to this."
Pat Cureton singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, singled in the 6th, hit a two-run single in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
For the year, Cureton has hit .512 with 8 home runs, 29 RBIs and scored 21 runs.
