Season Ends for Zack Scott of Wichita
Friday, May 1st , 2026
Doctors in Wichita said Zack Scott might not play anymore this year. The Panthers closer suffered shoulder inflammation during a game against the Carson City Miners and will be out for at least 5 months. Club officials told BNN they do not expect him to return to the team this season.

To this point in the year Scott has put up a 3-0 won-lost mark, made 10 relief appearances and rung up 3 saves. He has a 1.15 ERA and has allowed 12 hits over his 15.2 innings of work, struck out 14 batters and walked 3.
