Ortega Goes 5-for-5 Monday, April 27th , 2026 Santa Barbara Super Troopers right fielder Luis Ortega went ballistic with the bat. He hammered the Mt. Vernon Cyclones for 5 hits to help Santa Barbara win, 12-8, over Mt. Vernon at Car Ramrod Park. Luis Ortega singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th and hit an RBI single in the 7th. Thus far this year, Ortega has hit .395 with no home runs and 11 RBIs.
