Cureton Scorches Thunder Wolves for 3 HR Wednesday, April 8th , 2026 Fans seated in the bleacher section at Thunder Wolves Stadium were taking cover all day long as Pat Cureton zeroed in on them, rattling three long blasts off the seats in a display of Herculean power. The big game from the Ottawa center fielder helped the Lynx take the victory, 16-10, over the Tacoma Thunder Wolves. "I told myself not to press on the last one," he told reporters in the postgame press conference. "I knew I couldn't force it -- it has to be a nice easy swing." For the game, he collected 3 hits in 5 at-bats, drove in 9 and scored 3 runs. Pat Cureton flied out in the 2nd, struck out in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off Tony Hernandez in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Arhippa Hynninen in the 7th and hit a GRAND SLAM off Jim Unknown in the 8th. |
