Harrison Gets Award for Relief Work

Jeremy Harrison was a calming influence out of the Little Rock Golden Gophers bullpen this season.

His teammates and manager said he had a poised demeanor about him that was typical of someone much older and more experienced. His poise has paid off, as the 23-year-old turned in a sparkling season and has been named the winner of the Sub League 1 Reliever of the Year Award for 2026.

The Hagerstown, Maryland native won the award with 6 saves in 32 relief appearances, 52 strikeouts in 64 innings and a record of 5-6 to go with his 2.11 ERA.

He received 21 first place votes out of a possible 24. Chris Williams of the Santa Ana Black Aces finished second in voting with 1 first place vote, while Keith Price of the Medford Desperados finished third with 2 first place votes.
