Division Series Goes the Distance, Medford Prevails Friday, September 19th , 2025 The Medford Desperados and Santa Ana Black Aces held nothing back in an entertaining Division Series that went the distance. In the end, it will be Medford advancing to the League Championship Series, after a 8-7 triumph in the final game at Ballpark of Medford, to wrap up the series 4-3. The Desperados players celebrated jubilantly in their clubhouse after the game, while the scene was one of dismay on the opposing side for the Black Aces. Aaron Helgason was named series MVP for Medford. For the series, Helgason hit .433 with a .469 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 3 RBI and scored 4 runs. The Medford Desperados will play against the Little Rock Golden Gophers in the next round. Little Rock won their series against the Ottawa Lynx 4 games to 1.
