Jacob Involved in Accident Tuesday, September 22nd , 2026 Providence reliever Wally Jacob called in hurt today. He told Hex officials that he had suffered a concussion while falling off his roof. After being examined by his physician Jacob said it looked like he would probably miss about 10 months. For the year, Jacob has collected 3 saves in 28 relief appearances. He has also notched 42 strikeouts and 28 walks in 57.1 innings while registering a 5.65 ERA and a 3-1 won-lost record. |
