SL1's Best Batter Picked Sunday, September 1st , 2024 At only 21 years of age, Justin Dawson could very well have many more months like this last one during his career. That would be great news for fans of the Little Rock Golden Gophers, as August was one to remember for the designated hitter and he has captured the Sub League 1 Batter of the Month award. On the month he hit .393 with 15 home runs, 43 RBIs and 48 runs scored. This year, Dawson is batting .311 with 83 hits and 32 home runs. He has scored 85 times and has batted in 99 runs. |
