Bridges Hits in 31 Straight Games Saturday, August 30th , 2025 With 3 hits at Jammers Park, Lamar Bridges added another game to his hitting streak -- the Medford third baseman has now hit safely for 31 games in a row. But the hitting feat wasn't enough for the Desperados, as they fell, 7-3, to the Julian Jammers. "Frankly, I don't care about hits," Julian manager Cameron Pabst said later. "I'll let him get 5 hits in 5 at-bats if it means we get a win." Lamar Bridges hit a solo-shot off Salvador Gurrola in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th. This year, Bridges has 13 home runs and a .363 batting average. |
