Voci Pounds 3 HR Against Miners Saturday, August 30th , 2025 For Jim Voci, it was not an average day at the ballpark. Fans at Miners Ballpark watched Voci power the Santa Barbara Super Troopers to a win, 13-4, over the Carson City Miners, blasting a trifecta of home runs. "I've always loved hitting in Miners Ballpark," the catcher told reporters following his big day. "You can see the ball so well." For the game, he collected 3 hits in 6 at-bats, scored 3 runs and had 6 RBIs. Jim Voci struck out in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Victor Duran in the 3rd, flied out in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off Adam Thomas in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Felix Salas in the 8th and struck out in the 9th. Voci is hitting at a .339 mark this season. His stats show 12 home runs, 45 RBIs and 43 runs scored. He has played 43 games for the Super Troopers. |
