Bridges Hit Streak Soars to 25 Games Saturday, August 23rd , 2025 Lamar Bridges continued his streak at Santa Ana Stadium, even as the ballgame did not go his way. The Medford third baseman was 1-for-4 in today's contest and now has hit safely in his last 25 games. The Desperados were not as fortunate, losing, 7-2, to the Santa Ana Black Aces. "Bridges was hitting everything we threw at him," said Santa Ana manager Elias Quesada. "He is a tough out. Fortunately, things went our way in the ballgame and we came away with a win." Lamar Bridges flied out in the 1st, flied out in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th and hit an RBI single in the 8th. In his season totals Bridges has 12 home runs and a .362 batting average. |
