Bad News for Niskayuna, Garcia Injured Sunday, August 17th , 2025 The season is finished for Andres Garcia of the Niskayuna Fighting Knights. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Fighting Knights reliever suffered radial nerve compression while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Sikeston Shamrocks. Team doctors said it would take at least 9 months to heal. Garcia has taken the mound for 13 relief appearances this season, nailing down no saves while notching a 3-0 record with a 4.01 ERA. The Niskayuna reliever has limited opposing batters to a .288 batting average. |
