Consecutive-Game Hit Streak Continues for Bridges
Friday, August 15th , 2025
The streak is alive and well -- at least for today.

Lamar Bridges did it again, bashing 1 hit in the contest at Ballpark of Providence. For the last 20 games in a row, the 21-year-old third baseman has collected at least one hit. His efforts helped the Medford Desperados beat the Providence Hex, 4-3.

"I'm happy I kept the streak going," Bridges told a standing-room-only crowd of reporters gathered in the Medford clubhouse. "Honestly though, I'm looking forward to going home and not thinking about this for the rest of the day."
Lamar Bridges struck out in the 1st, struck out in the 2nd, singled in the 5th, flied out in the 6th and grounded out in the 8th.

So far this year, Bridges is batting .354 with 12 home runs and 60 RBIs.
