Ontario's Martin to Miss Season Sunday, August 10th , 2025 The season is finished for Drew Martin of the Ontario Sunrays. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Sunrays reliever suffered a damaged elbow ligament while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Mt. Vernon Cyclones. Team doctors said it would take at least 12 months to heal. For the year, Martin has saved 0 games while posting an ERA of 8.10 and 27 strikeouts in 26.2 innings. His totals also include a 0-1 record in 15 relief appearances. |
