Wichita's Gruber Winner, SL2 Best Hitter in July Friday, August 1st , 2025 Rick Gruber is not used to being associated with Batter of the Month-caliber players, but today the Wichita left fielder joined that select company when the Sub League 2 announced the results of July's voting. Gruber totaled 40 hits, 13 walks, 9 home runs, 35 RBIs and 25 runs scored last month to put together a .435 batting average and .500 on-base percentage. For the year, Gruber is hitting .360 with 28 home runs. His stats include 94 RBI and 82 runs scored. |
