Leyritana Sizzles -- Smokes Missions for 5 Hits Tuesday, August 27th , 2024 Rovilson Leyritana of the Wranglers was unstoppable in his team's 28-24 victory over the Montgomery Missions at Wranglers Stadium. He battered them for 5 hits in 8 at-bats. "Boy, I was on the mark today," said the Newport News shortstop after the game. "I could see the ball real well. It's a great feeling to do this. And besides, 5-for-8 won't hurt your batting average like 0-for-5 will."
