Jack Ficca was sending souvenirs to the sun gods all game long in the 11-4 Tacoma Thunder Wolves triumph at Thunder Wolves Stadium.
The 22-year-old put on a show for fans, launching not one, not two, but three home runs into the stands and powering the Thunder Wolves past the Santa Ana Black Aces.
"One homer's good, two's great, three's out of sight," Ficca told BNN reporters after the game. "I can't wait until next game. I really feel good at the plate."
The third baseman went 3-for-5, rung up 5 RBIs and scored 4 runs on his record-setting day.
Jack Ficca hit a solo-shot off Roberto Alcaide in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Roberto Alcaide in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th and hit a three-run home run off Dan Avis in the 7th.
Thus far this season, Ficca is hitting .374 with 31 home runs, 112 RBIs and 122 runs scored. He has 168 hits in 449 at-bats and has played in 114 games.
