Medford Wins Top Spot in Sub League 1 East Division Tuesday, August 20th , 2024 There may have been other teams in the Sub League 1 East Division, but this year there was one that stood far above all others. The Medford Desperados are division champions after to date what has been a dominant season that sees the club well out ahead of the pack, with a current record of 83-39. It is the 1st time in franchise history they have won the Sub League 1 East Division. "We've had the right preparation and focus all year," said manager Noah Alexander. The club will now be looking for its 1st ABA Class A- championship. "We're all getting excited to get the playoffs started," said starting pitcher Graham Renner as he paused from celebrations with his jubilant teammates. "The division is one thing, but ultimately we want to get to the World Series and win it." |
