Jaden Cornelius Injured, Out for Year Tuesday, August 13th , 2024 A blow for Jaden Cornelius today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 8 months with a torn flexor tendon in his elbow. Cornelius suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Greensboro Naturals are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Cornelius's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. To date this year, Cornelius has won 2 and lost 1 with a 3.59 ERA, 2 saves and 42 strikeouts in 19 relief appearances. |
