Simmons Slams 5 Hits for Carson City Sunday, August 23rd , 2026 It was a parade of hits for Ryan Simmons of the Carson City Miners at Miners Ballpark. Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Simmons finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 6 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Miners to a win, 16-8. "Simmons was really good and we were really bad," groaned Green Knights manager Noah Lute. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him."
