Russ Keeps Hit Streak Alive Thursday, August 20th , 2026 The hot bat of Miners shortstop Ryan Russ continues to churn out hit after hit, game after game. His consecutive-game hitting streak now numbers 20 games after he went 1-for-3 in today's 9-2 loss to the Panthers at Panthers Park. "I'm trying not to think about it much," he said later. "I don't want to mess with whatever zone I'm in." Ryan Russ singled in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th and struck out in the 7th. So far this season, Russ is batting .386 with 8 home runs, 62 RBIs and 76 runs scored. He has 165 hits in 427 at-bats, 32 walks and a .426 OBP. Russ has played in 111 games. |
