Sub League 2 Central Division Winner is Santa Barbara Super Troopers Sunday, August 16th , 2026 They may have won the Sub League 2 Central Division easily, but that didn't stop members of the Santa Barbara Super Troopers from celebrating joyously when the clinch became official. "It doesn't matter if you're one game ahead, or 100 games ahead, it still feels amazing to be division champs, especially in the Sub League 2 Central Division," said reliever J.J. Mendenhall. "This is where you want to be from the get go when you start each year." The smiles on the faces of the Santa Barbara players stretched ear-to-ear as they embraced each other in bear hugs, while yelling, singing, chanting and even drinking in their clubhouse, late into the night. It is the 3rd division title for the club and they will now be vying for the 2nd ABA Class A- championship in team history. |
