Baker Belts 5 Hits Sunday, August 4th , 2024 It was a sensational day at the plate for Danny Baker as he led the charge to a nifty 22-7 win over the Air Riders. The Niskayuna right fielder was pure misery for the South Pasadena pitching staff. He left them shell-shocked with 5 hits in 6 at-bats in an explosive display of hitting. "Baker put the ball into play and he really hit it hard," said Nate West, manager for the Air Riders, after the game. "When you do that, you've got a good chance to do some damage. And that's what happened. I feel like we threw some good pitches, but he just put some good swings on the ball." Danny Baker singled in the 2nd, grounded out in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit a GRAND SLAM off Jim Unknown in the 8th.
