Cook 5-for-5 for Wichita Wednesday, July 31st , 2024 The Anaheim Music couldn't stop Jim Cook, but they stopped the Wichita Panthers, 14-5. Cook went 5-for-5 in the game at Panthers Park, but his team still came out on the wrong end of the score. "I feel bad for Jim -- that's not how any of us wanted things to turn out," said Wichita manager Ross Meister. "The Music were on their game today." Jim Cook singled in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th. Cook is hitting .283 in 2024 with 57 RBIs and 9 home runs.
