Providence-Waco Brawl, Rinehart and Childress Suspended Sunday, August 9th , 2026 After an intense confrontation, both the Hex John Rinehart and the Warlocks Chris Childress were handed their punishments today. The league commissioner's office issued suspensions for an on-the-field conflict that occurred at a recent Providence-Waco game. John Rinehart will miss 2 games, while Chris Childress was suspended for 6 games. "Sometimes we go too far and have to pay the consequences," John Rinehart commented later. "Hopefully cooler heads will prevail the next time we play." For the year, Rinehart has hit at a .293 clip with 23 RBIs, 4 home runs and 28 runs scored. Thus far this season, Childress has worked 107.2 innings with 87 strikeouts en route to a 6-4 record and a 6.69 ERA. |
