Dreadful Season Sees Playoff Hopes Dashed for Newport Saturday, August 1st , 2026 The Newport Unicorns will soon be packing their bags and heading home for the year. The 2026 season won't involve a playoff run for the club, as Newport was mathematically eliminated from playoff contention today. The Unicorns are still searching for their first playoff appearance. The team has now missed qualifying for the postseason in each of their 3 seasons in the A-. |
