SL2 Pitcher of the Month Goes to Richardson Saturday, August 1st , 2026 Any time a rookie makes a splash on the scene, it's got to be great for his career potential. Just ask Brock Richardson, who put together a stellar month out of the pen. The Ontario Sunrays closer, 18, kept the opposition off balance all month as he held them to a .309 average and walked away with the Sub League 2 Pitcher of the Month award for July. Richardson posted a 3-0 mark and a 0.61 ERA in 14 relief appearances. In 14.2 innings, he had 10 saves, 10 strikeouts, and 3 walks. For the year, Richardson has made 15 relief appearances and claimed 10 saves. His record is 3-1 with 10 strikeouts in 16.2 innings and a 1.08 ERA. |
