Gabel Top Hitter in SL1 in July Saturday, August 1st , 2026 Scott Gabel is not used to being associated with Batter of the Month-caliber players, but today the St. Joseph left fielder joined that select company when the Sub League 1 announced the results of July's voting. Gabel totaled 36 hits, 11 walks, 7 home runs, 28 RBIs and 24 runs scored last month to put together a .379 batting average and .439 on-base percentage. For the season, Gabel is hitting .329, batted in 40 runs with 7 home runs and 32 runs scored. |
