Medford-Pikeville Brawl, Rook and Acosta Suspended Sunday, July 21st , 2024 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's Medford-Pikeville contest at Cavalry Grounds. The Desperados Jon Rook and the Cavalry Mario Acosta will have to sit out 4 and 2 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. In his 2024 season totals, Rook has 4 home runs, .350 BA, .434 OBP, 20 RBIs and 33 runs scored. This year, Acosta has fanned 84 in 97.1 innings and collected a 6-5 record with a 5.09 ERA. |
