Cano on a Rampage, Hits for Cycle Saturday, July 20th , 2024 Most fans have never seen a player hit for the cycle, and most players have never done it -- but it happened today at Naturals Grounds. Roberto Cano of the Greensboro Naturals accomplished the feat against Julian Jammers. Cano went 6-for-6 with 3 singles, 1 double, 1 triple and 1 home run in the 12-10 Greensboro victory. "That was one for the grandkids, am I right?" Cano said after the game. Cano also scored 1 run and had 4 runs batted in in a day to remember for both Cano and the crowd at Naturals Grounds. Roberto Cano singled in the 1st, hit an RBI triple in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 8th, doubled in the 8th and hit a two-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 10th.
