Santa Ana Loses Alex Herrera, Will Miss Season Saturday, July 20th , 2024 When Alex Herrera was hurt against the Tacoma Thunder Wolves, the Santa Ana Black Aces were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 19-year-old starting pitcher suffered a damaged elbow ligament throwing a pitch in yesterday's game.
