Lenger Crushes 3 HR Against Newport Monday, July 27th , 2026 Whatever Ron Lenger ate for breakfast before his game against the Newport Unicorns, it gave him some impressive power. The Tacoma left fielder smacked three balls up and out of the park at Thunder Wolves Stadium. His home run barrage helped the Thunder Wolves defeat the Unicorns, 6-3. "When they throw it in your wheelhouse, you've got a shot at a homer," he told BNN reporters after the game. "I got three shots today and nailed them all." On his 3-homer day, he went 3-for-4, scored 3 times, drove in 4 and put on a display that history will remember. Ron Lenger struck out in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Jesus Perez in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Jesus Perez in the 5th and hit a solo-shot off Seiichi Yamaguchi in the 7th. So far this year, Lenger is batting .343 with 17 home runs and 58 RBIs. |
