Newport News-Anaheim Brawl, Schelling and Kent Suspended Wednesday, July 17th , 2024 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's Newport News-Anaheim contest at Music Grove. The Wranglers Ian Schelling and the Music Aaron Kent will have to sit out 4 and 8 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. Schelling is currently batting .350 with 2 home runs and 17 RBIs. This season, Kent has earned 4 saves, tossed 33.1 innings, made 16 relief appearances, fanned 26 hitters and posted an ERA of 8.91. Teams are hitting .392 against him. |
